Curse of the Duke Point Guard?

Man, what's with the Duke point guards?

You had Bobby Hurley getting into a car accident which basically ended his career.

You had Jason Williams getting into a motorcycle accident which has also basically ended his career. He's trying to come back but he'll never be the player he was or could have been.

And now you have Shaun Livingston. Granted, he really did not go to Duke, but he had committed to going there already until he decided to turn pro straight out of high school instead. Watching his knee crumble while attempting a layup, which resulted in him dislocating his knee and tearing all 3 of his knee ligaments --- just watching it was painful.

I hope his career isn't over and he comes back to play, even if he'll never fulfill the potential everyone thought he had. The good news is that he did not damage the nervous or circulatory systems in his knee, unlike Jason Williams.
