Catching Up: Little Miss Sunshine

Little Miss Sunshine, my friends, was a 7 Nation movie.

I don't think that I have laughed that hard at a movie since The Wedding Crashers, a very different kind of comedy.

But what a great movie. At its core, it's about the value of innocence (the essence of which was portrayed magnificently by Abigail Breslin) and the importance of family and being there for them (personified by one of the final scenes in the movie, which involved almost all the entire main cast). Is there really any other kind of family besides dysfunctional? We've all been there, we'll all thought our own family is insane. But in the end, we're always there for them too.

But do watch this movie if you haven't seen it yet. I popped it on the DVD player and watched it with my folks and my aunts and I don't think I've heard this much belly laughs from them while watching a movie in ages.
