Movie Review: Live Free Or Die Hard

The short of it: 5 out of 8 Nations.

The long of it:

Very enjoyable movie. Old school action movie in a lot of ways; not much CGI, lots of explosions (Len Wiseman, based on his work in this and the two Underworld movies, seems to have gone to the Michael Bay school), and good ol' Bruce took a beating from the bad guys.

McClane's trademark witty comebacks and banter are still around, and were a genuine crowd pleaser. The movie pretty much went straight to the action, and I can't complain about that. I'm all for character and plot development, but if you're a Die Hard fan, you just want to see McClane start kicking ass.

And wow, I am officially a fan of Maggie Q. Hot damn.
