Movie Update: The X-Files 2

The X-Files, years after its final episode has aired, remains one of the ErwiNation's favorite shows ever.

I really do miss it; that series was Lost AND Heroes AND 24 all in one.

But after years of waiting, the X-Files 2 movie seems to be on track for 2008, according to this interview this writer had with David Duchovny.

Some fine points:

- Chris Carter (who created the series) and Frank Spotnitz wrote the script. Carter is also directing it.

- The script is due to be delivered to Duchovny for a look see next week.

- Gillian Anderson is on board as Scully.

- The planned release date, as mentioned previously, is sometime in 2008.
