Considering that another Tom (Seaver), who just happens to be the greatest Mets player of all time, did not get his 300th win while a member of the Mets, it was nice watching history last night as Tom Glavine got his 300th win.
It's no secret amongst my friends that I am not the biggest Glavine fan. I still think of him too much as an Atlanta Brave, and his style of pitching gives me fits sometimes. But quite frankly, it is undeniable that he is one of the greatest of all time. And I am glad the franchise that I love so much got to be part of baseball history.
LET'S GO METS!!!!
