Movie Update: G.I. Joe

Slash Film is reporting that Ray Park (best known as Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I) has been cast as Snake Eyes in the live action G.I. Joe movie.

I like it for two reasons:

a) The guy knows his martial arts, that's for sure

b) Snake Eyes does not speak and is under a mask, so no great acting chops required. It's Darth Maul all over again and he was great as that.

Now, who should play Storm Shadow? I say Collin Chou, who played Seraph in The Matrix Reloaded. He's a great martial artist also, and no great acting chops required either.

And as long as we're talking about the G.I. Joe movie, Destro better be the coolest villain in the movie. And my personal choice to play The Baroness? Yup, you guessed it: Monica Bellucci. The Baroness does not have to be that young, and she has the look and accent for it already!
