Go Big Blue!!!!!!!!!

Watched the Giants beat the Cowboys today in the most nerve wracking Giant game I have watched all year.

The tension and drama was insane, and I am glad the Giants pulled it off and will now face the Green Bay Packers next week in the NFC Title Game.

Tony Romo's INT at the end of the game notwithstanding, I think this game was pretty much decided by two plays:

a) Eli Manning leading the Giants to a touchdown right before the half after starting from their own 29 yard line with 53 seconds left in the clock, trailing 14-7 after the Cowboys scored on a brutally long 20 play, 10+ minute drive. 46 seconds later, the Giants scored, and tied it after the kick. The Giants went into the locker room with a wave of confidence and I think it showed in the second half.

b) Patrick Cratyon dropped a pass right in his hands in the 3rd quarter with the game tied at 14-14, which probably would have resulted in a long touchdown score for the Cowboys. That was their best, or second best at worst, scoring chance in the 2nd half and they blew it.

Maybe everyone will lay off Eli now after 2 very good playoff performances where he showed tremendous game management. The Cowboys had possession about 60% of the game, and Eli made the most of the 40% the Giants got.

And perhaps everyone should turn an eye on Tony Romo now. This was the second playoff game of his career, and just like his first one, he made a mistake in the dying moments of the game which sealed his team's fate. When the Giant pass rush finally got to him, that cocky smile of his didn't show up too much anymore and he looked like the zero-wins-in-the-playoffs, inexperienced QB he is.

But am glad to see the Giants back in the title game, one win away from the Super Bowl. Go Big Blue!!!!
