Quick Thoughts On Last Night's Giants Win

You know, almost 24 hours later, and I am still amazed that the Giants are going to the Super Bowl.

That game was insane. We were out to dinner for my dad's birthday, and I would go to the bar every 10-15 minutes to check out the score. We got home just as the 4th quarter started, and by the time it was over, I felt like I had been watching for 10 hours, that's how excruciating that game was. And I must say, this was even more excruciating to watch than the 1990 NFC Championship Game between the Niners and the Giants, which also ended with a game winning FG by the Giant kicker at the time, Matt Bahr.

But in the end, we got the same result. And maybe just like back then, when we were facing a heavily favored scoring machine from the AFC as well whom we're not supposed to be able to beat, we could pull out the Super Bowl victory.
