Wow. Easily the most action packed episode ever, finale or non-finale.
Some thoughts and comments:
1. So Ben used Nadia's death to manipulate Sayid into working for him. Now, the question is, did Ben kill Nadia??
2. How did Ben end up in the middle of the Sahara in the first place? Wearing cold weather clothes too!
3. Ben's on a payback mission due to the murder of Alex. Widmore changed the rules - what WERE the rules? And why can't Ben kill Widmore? And was Widmore behind Dharma since Day 1?
4. Smokey is somehow harnessed by Ben/The Others
5. Hurley is the only one who can find Jacob's cabin, and Ben needs Locke alive so they can communicate with Jacob. Quite the odd collection of misfits, that crew.
6. Speaking of Hurley, he knows the deal: Australia is the key to Risk. I wonder if that was a double entendre though, what he said. He said: "Australia is the key to the game". Australia is the key to Risk and to figuring out more of the show's secrets?
7. Daniel's reply to Jack's question: "When? When is a relative term". In that vein, the theory that the Island is a place where the future has happened already makes sense.
8. Next question which results from that: Who will end up killing the boat's doctor?
Here's Sean.
