So, my two or three loyal readers are probably wondering, what the hell happened in April? 20 days between posts?? Slacker!
Mea Culpa. But what happened was:
1) Early April, I celebrated my 32nd birthday. A lot. So sue me.
2) April is a heavy birthday month amongst family and friends, so I have been celebrating those. A lot. So sue me.
3) Mid April, I got sick. Stayed home from work a couple of days and when I didn't, I was miserable and just wanted to sleep and rest when I got home.
4) In spite of illness, there were a lot of sports going on and I had to watch on TV and/or live. The NCAA tournament was on. The Mets' season began -- and I was able to go to two games at Shea Stadium, including Johan Santana's first home start. The NHL Playoffs started too, and I was fortunate enough to go to a Rangers' playoff game at Madison Square Garden. The NBA playoffs started, and my Lakers are looking great. Arsenal's domestic and European campaign were in full swing (albeit both ended badly). And UFC and Calzaghe-Hopkins were this past weekend as well.
5) I am trying to finish Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 for 360 before this comes out on April 29th. I am proud to say though that I finished Devil May Cry 4 for the PS3 well ahead of schedule, way back in March.
6) There has been no Lost to blog about most of April, but it is coming back this Thursday. And The Office, Scrubs and 30 Rock are now back as well, post writer's strike.
7) Was watching Season 1 of this on DVD non-stop. I am about to start on Season 2. Awesome show.
8) With baseball season starting, the MCL season began as well. As commissioner, I had to organize and run the draft, do the stats, the usual stuff. And I love it. Team Punishment (my team) is off to a 3-0 start as I try to regain the title I won 2 years ago.
I will try to get at least 2 or 3 more postings for April though. I should be doing my summer movie preview soon, as Iron Man officially starts it off for me. So stay sharp for that.
