Movie Update: The Dark Knight (aka The Batman Begins sequel)

I. CAN'T. WAIT. FOR. THIS. FRIGGIN. MOVIE.

Christopher Nolan and the rest of his team just can't do any wrong right now. Last week, they revealed this:

That, of course, is Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent, the Gotham D.A. who eventually becomes Two-Face. Great casting choice, and that poster is friggin awesome.

THEN, a few days later, they come out with this:

Yes kiddies, that's Heath Ledger in the first full reveal as to what The Joker will look like. I can't help but get a "The Killing Joke" vibe out of looking at it, and that gets me very excited.

Today, a little teaser from The L.A. Daily News.

Oh, Anthony Michael Hall, why must you tease us so? "A small part but it "affects the story".

Ok, allow me to geek out further and throw out some possibilities.

There's absolutely no chance I think that he will be Dick Grayson, Jason Todd or Tim Drake - the 3 various Robins through the years. Too old.

Could he be a pre-Riddler Edward Nygma? That seems to be the concensus amongst my geek braintrust right now (BTC, Sean and myself). And he'd fit the part, that's for sure; The Riddler , whenever he does show up as a full fledged villain, has to be more of a cerebral assassin type.

Maybe he is Zsasz? Zsasz had a cameo of sorts in Batman Begins as one of the Arkham escapees. And maybe Joker got those scars on his face thanks to Zsasz?

Maybe Jean Paul Valley, aka Azrael? Ok, no picture of Azrael without the mask, but he is blond and bookish looking just like Hall.

Bottom line, whoever he will be, it has to be a bookish, nerdy, geeky type of character. And those are the 3 that come to mind. Any thoughts from anybody else?
