Voltes V

Voltes V was my favorite show as a child.

This show aired in the Philippines from 1979 til about 1980 before it was unceremoniously pulled off the air (check the Wiki link above for more details about that). But this show was a whole generation of Filipino kids' favorite, and I was no exception. I was only 3 years old when this show started to air in good ol' Manila and I still remember watching it on our old ginormous black and white TV. I had the toys, the shirts, the books - you name it, I had it. (See BTC, the anime love started earlllllllllllllly in my childhood).

Anyway, below is the opening credits and theme for the show. Brings some nice memories whenever I hear the beginning strains to that song. I actually have the entire series on VHS, I wonder if I can get it on DVD somewhere on the web...
