What Should The ErwiNation Read Next?

Alright, my 2 or 3 loyal readers (and anybody else who would like to join in), the Nation needs your help.

The Nation has no shortage of books just waiting to be read. But unfortunately, I realized that I have overloaded my noggin on sci-fi/fantasy books recently and need a change of pace.

Sooooooooooo, I'm about to list 4 books - 2 each by the same author - and I'd like to hear as to what you guys think I should read next. You can vote by leaving me a comment or by sending me an email. No anonymous votes on the comments page will be counted! Please leave your name, or some sort of handle that I'd know you by. Deadline to vote is Sunday, May 13th, at 7 PM.

But just so we're clear, I will most probably end up reading these 4 books sooner or later, so if you're favorite doesn't win, rest assured, it will get read. :-D It's just a matter of what's next.

And the choices are, in alphabetical order of the title:

#1:

And before you ask: No, I have never read it.

Details here.

#2:

#3:

And last but not least, #4:

Thank you in advance and please vote!!!!

I can only speak to what I know - I think Chabon is great, though I haven't read the other author. So I am biased.
I vote for K&C, though if you read "Yiddish Policeman's Union", you will have your finger on the pulse of pop culture and will be able to talk to any cutting edge muckety-mucks at parties this summer.

I vote for The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay to start and then why not just take it in the order you have them listed?

--- but the ErwiNation's not about conforming, Mr. BTC! :-D

Since I've never heard of any of these titles or authors, I'm going to pick the same way I pick horses...'cuz I like the name. My vote's for You Suck.

Was just trying to figure out what to read next myself and think I'm going to go with Chabon's "Yiddish Policeman's Union", have read good things about it. As an added bonus, we can discuss the book. :-)

I vote for The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay so you can convince me if I should bother reading it.

They all sound really great. The only one I have read out of the bunch is The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay...so that's what I vote for!

PS - The book has one of the most heartbreaking love letters I have ever read.

my vote is for 'you suck'... just because...

Definitely read The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. I haven't read it, but I own it so it must be good. =)
