I so want either one of these two hoodies! It's a good thing I'm not in school anymore, or else it would be open season on my lunch money every day.Boba FettStorm Trooper

LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga
Really looking forward to the LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga game. Everyone pretty much knows the love the Nation has for Star Wars so this should come as no surprise. Check out the exclusive EW.com trailer for it here.

George Lucas talks Star Wars Animated and Live Action TV Series
From TV Guide.com
Some highlights:
TV Guide: Can we talk about the two Star Wars television series you're working on...?
George Lucas: There's Clone Wars, and we're in the middle of that.
TV Guide: Tell us about it.
Lucas: Well it's basically like Star Wars [in that it] takes place between, obviously, [the films] Episode II [Attack of the Clones] and Episode III [Revenge of the Sith], but it's the same kind of action. Unfortunately, it doesn't fall into the realm of what animation [typically] is, which is either adult, kind of off-color humor or kiddie stuff. This is, like Star Wars, sort of in between those two things. It's a lot of battle stuff, and it's obviously the Clone Wars, so it's a war picture. So it's kind of a PG-13 animated TV series, which is something that has never been done before and obviously doesn't fit in any of the conventional slots that these things fall into. In that, it's very different, and I think it's very exciting. It's got a very, very sophisticated look to it. It's very much like the features. We're still trying to figure out how to put it on the air.
TV Guide: And you're going to do a hundred episodes?
Lucas: We're going to do a hundred episodes. I think we're on [No.] 40 right now. We'll probably end up with 50 to 60 episodes before we start to put it on the air. We'd like to put it on next fall, in about a year from now, but we'll see what happens.
AND...
TV Guide: What about your Star Wars live-action series for TV?
Lucas: Yes, I'm working on that. We're just going to start writing it in about a month from now, start doing scripts for it.
TV Guide: And where will that live in the Star Wars continuum relative to Clone Wars and relative to the films?
Lucas: Well, Clone Wars has got all the characters in it — Yoda and Anakin and Obi Wan and the Emperor and all that — so it's basically the movie. The live-action [series] is not the movie. It's the Star Wars universe, but it's characters from the saga who were [previously] minor, and it follows their stories. It's set between [movie episodes] III and IV, when the Empire has taken over. It's like Episode IV in that the Emperor and Darth Vader are heard about — people talk about them — but you never see them because it doesn't take place where they actually are. There are storm troopers and all that, but there are no Jedis. It's different, but I think it's very exciting because I get to explore a part of that universe that I haven't been able to explore. Once you have a saga, it's got a lot of requirements because it's about a particular [thing] — in this case, Darth Vader — and so it's his story from the time he's 10 to the time he died. You really can't go off that track because that's the story. Whereas now, I can make a left turn on 10th Street and go down there and see what's going on.

And Now, Back To Our Regularly Scheduled Programming...
I've resisted the urge to get a Wii so far. Not because I don't think it's fun or anything; that's the furthest thing from the truth actually. Can you imagine standing in front of your television with the Wii-mote firmly in your grasp ready to do battle in a lightsaber battle? Well, it may be sooner than you think, Maniacs. At the Hollywood & Games Summet in Los Angeles, Lucasart's Jim Ward addressed this much asked question. "What would it take to make a lightsaber game for the Wii?", Ward, who is President of LucasArts and a Senior VP at Lucasfilm, commented: He could be talking about the upcoming LEGO STAR WARS: COMPLETE SAGA game which hits the WII later this year. Then again, he could also be talking about future Lucasarts games solely designed with the Wii-mote technology already in mind. Either way, it sounds sweet.
It's just that I already have an XBox 360, and I'm not made out of money. I got several opportunities to get a PS3 when it first came out as well and declined. But this... this might just make me get a Wii in the future. No secret that there is much Star Wars love in the Nation, and this quite frankly, would just be awesome.
From www.mania.com:
"We’re all over that, and internally we have already played a lightsaber game on the Wii. It’s a lot of fun, and we’ll get there."
He added that the whole concept of a title using a lightsaber of Nintendo Wii was "...in place! There’ll be some stuff out this Fall - it’s going to be a lot of fun."

I have finally seen one....
I finally saw one.
I finally saw one of those R2D2 mailboxes.
Was in the Wall St. area yesterday and saw one. I took a picture of it with my camera phone but it's not all that clear, so am going to post one from the web instead.
And yes, I was quite happy. If only tampering with mailboxes wasn't a federal offense...

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
Coming out in November 2007 - Star Wars: The Force Unleashed
I can't wait for this game. I'm a sucker for anything that involves Jedis, and if this is anything like the Knights of the Old Republic games in terms of fun, this should be great.
The best part has to be that you get to play as Darth Vader's apprentice. So Dark Side Force Powers + Lightsabers = All Is Good In the ErwiNation

Industrial Light and Magic Pics
Got sent this link which shows mostly Star Wars related pictures from the I.L.M. offices.
When I went to visit the Bay Area back in 2005, I wanted to do 2 things no matter what: visit Alcatraz and drive down Lombard Street, and glad to say I was able to do both. In retrospect, I should have added "Go to I.L.M./Skywalker Ranch, even if I were to just drive past the front." Anyways, some of my favorite pics from the bunch:
