Making Headway

Okay, so in the last 2-3 weeks, I've finished reading:

Coraline

Twilight Watch

Fragile Things

Below, I've listed the books I am a) either currently reading or b) have in hand in Kindle or hard copy version, as they are on my list to read. I've decided no more new books until I finish at least 3 of them:

The Name Of The Wind

The Chronicles Of The Black Company

Public Enemies

A Dirty Job

Spirit Gate

Last Watch

A Darkness Forged In Fire

The Charnel Prince

What I need is another long vacation on a beach...

A Goal For January

Well, 2 weeks after the New Year and am finally back posting. Anyways, I have decided that I need to see these 5 movies before February hits. Okay, maybe that's too ambitious, knowing me. Fine, by the 2nd week of February then!

These 5 are:

Juno

There Will Be Blood, starring the amazing Daniel Day-Lewis.

Atonement

The Orphanage

Cloverfield

Why The Nation Has Been A Tad Unhappy Since Late Last Week...

Well, at least this should give me a reason to finish a lot of the books I've been reading, like this one. I should have finished it a long time ago but I go in spurts when I read the darn thing. I don't know why, it's not as if I don't find it extremely good. Maybe it's A.D.D. or something...

This should give me "the why" to watch a lot of the shows and anime I have on my DVR and hard drive as well.

But dammit, I'm not even angry. I just really want to keep on playing some more Bioshock. Game of the Year, I tell you. Game of the friggin year. Those m'fers at Microsoft better get my 360 back to me lickity split.

The Lazy Sunday Post

But you know it was quite the night when I got on the exercise bike this afternoon and when I started to sweat, it reeked a little bit of beer. :-)

I swear, Sundays were made for times like these.

Marzipan Madness

A co-worker of mine brought in a Raspberry Marzipan Cheesecake she baked herself.

I LOVE Marzipan. But I have to avoid sweets. Sigh.

I don't know what it is about Marzipan that I love so much. Maybe it's the Almond. I mean, my drink of choice at a Cafe is usually a Steamed Milk with Orzata Almond Syrup.

Good thing she didn't bring in a Chocolate Marzipan Cheesecake or else it's game over.

Quid Pro Quo

Since I had a lot of fun at Sean's expense with my previous post, I figure the honorable thing to do is point out an old posting he had on his website. Yup, that "friend" was me.
